About the Dental Bridge Procedure
The dental bridge process involves two visits to our Greeley dentist office. During the initial visit, your doctor will prepare the enamel on the abutment teeth. Afterward, they will take impressions of the abutment teeth as well as measurements of the surrounding structures. These impressions will guide the lab technician as they create your custom-fitted bridge. Before leaving the office, your doctor will place a temporary bridge to protect the abutment teeth and maintain spacing. At the second visit your doctor will remove the temporary bridge and check the fit of the permanent bridge. If the fit is not perfect, they may need to make adjustments. Once assured of an ideal fit, your doctor will bond the bridge permanently into place.
